Google Tests Canvas and Connectors in NotebookLM

NotebookLM is showing signs of expanding beyond a simple summarization tool into a document-based visual and interactive workspace. A new Canvas option has been spotted inside Studio, and it appears Google is experimenting with turning source material into timelines, webpages, lightweight games, and visualization tools.

New Connectors settings have also been spotted. It's interpreted that Google is first pulling in data from its own ecosystem products, then from other services, into NotebookLM, aiming to grow NotebookLM from an individual notebook into a central research layer across Google's tools.

Source management features are also likely to be strengthened.
