Restoring Voices for Stroke Survivors

Every year, more than 12 million people worldwide experience a stroke, and a significant number of them suffer from motor speech disorders that make communication difficult.

ElevenLabs has entered into a partnership with Stroke Onward, an organization that supports stroke survivors, to help restore their identity through voice restoration technology. Through this collaboration, selected individuals will be able to use the following technologies for free through the ElevenLabs Impact Program.

• Voice cloning
• Text to Speech

Through this, patients suffering from conditions such as dysarthria will be able to digitally recreate their own unique voice, enabling them to communicate naturally with their loved ones and maintain their identity.

Additionally, through collaboration with the Stroke Onward Community Circle (SOCC), the partnership will strengthen not only technical support but also community activities for emotional and identity recovery after a stroke.
