ElevenCreative Introduces Music Marketplace
Key point
ElevenCreative has launched a Music Marketplace for publishing, distributing, and monetizing music.
Details
ElevenCreative has opened the Music Marketplace, allowing the community to publish, distribute, and monetize music they've created directly within the platform. So far, songs generated with the music model have reached nearly 14 million tracks, and the existing Voice Marketplace has already paid out over $11 million to creators.
Tracks uploaded to the Marketplace can be downloaded as-is by other creators and businesses, or remixed for use in new projects. They can also be licensed for various purposes such as videos, games, and product demos, and when someone uses a published track, the original creator earns revenue based on that usage.
One of the early participating creators is Patrick Jordan-Patrikios, a producer and songwriter behind hits for Sia, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, and Little Mix.
- Commercial licensing is provided by default.
- Licenses are divided into three tiers: Social Media, Paid Marketing, and Offline.
- It covers a wide range of uses including YouTube videos, podcasts, ads, brand content, game soundtracks, and live events.
- Tracks can be browsed by genre, mood, and tempo, and the catalog keeps expanding as creators upload new tracks.
Ultimately, this feature focuses on turning music generations into licensed assets that are directly traded and reused, rather than mere outputs. You can get started at elevenlabs.io/music.
