Driving Execution with Metric Review

Toss Place's Data Platform Team has made Metric Review the central operating method for data analysis, ensuring that insights actually lead to execution.

The core is a Metric Hierarchy connected to OKRs. Company-level Key Results are passed down to Team/Silo levels, and Driver Metrics beneath them are used to read opportunities and threats. Metrics are not just numbers—they become a common language for the organization to move toward the same goals.

The analysis flow is also clear.

• Narrow down causes through hypothesis testing
• Shape direction through presenting insights
• Connect it to change through encouraging execution

Adding a weekly, consistent rhythm and EDA (exploratory data analysis) on top of this, the process is run not as a simple report but as a review that produces the next action.

Real cases have emerged as well. In Growth Tribe, POs and DAs jointly check on-track status based on the same target metrics, leading to company-wide metric improvements. POS Tribe contributed to accelerating POS expansion by creating tailored prescriptions through cluster analysis by agency. In the SCM area as well, forecast-based actions have driven distribution structure optimization and cost savings.
