Wordtune Read launches

AI21 Labs has launched Wordtune Read, a reading-focused companion to its writing assistant service Wordtune. Targeting long documents and information overload, it focuses on quickly analyzing text and summarizing the key points.

Users can upload a PDF or paste a link to the text they want to read. Within seconds, a short snippet appears next to the document showing the main topics, and rather than simple sentence extraction, the AI summarizes the key points.

Key features include:

• Spotlight, which lets users re-summarize the same document from a different perspective.
• Applies broadly to long documents such as articles, reports, and academic papers.
