skills CLI 1.7.0 Adds Support for Notion-Hosted Skill Installation

skills CLI 1.7.0 has been updated to support Notion as a source for installing agent skills. Developers can now directly install skills authored in Notion workspaces without needing a Git repository.

Notion-Based Skill Management

Notion skills are reusable agent skills authored as Notion pages. Teams can author, review, and update skills within their existing workspaces and then install them on any agent supported by skills CLI.

• Installation method: List shared skill packs from a workspace, or pass a specific Notion page URL to install individual skills.
• Authentication: Uses Notion CLI (ntn) and requires allowing personal access tokens in the workspace.
• Permission management: Follows Notion's page permissions, so skill installation rights are controlled identically to page view permissions.

Standardized Compatibility

This integration is based on the Notion Agent Skills API. This API exposes skills stored in Notion in the standard Agent Skills folder format. Because it follows the standard format, these skills work identically on any agent capable of reading them.
