Kakao Introduces Keyword Networking and After Sessions at if(kakao)26

The Kakao Tech Planning DevRel team has prepared two networking programs at if(kakao)26 to facilitate meaningful interactions among developers. The focus is on addressing common conference limitations, such as "missing the timing for questions" and "the awkwardness of starting a conversation."

Interest-Based Dialogue: Keyword Networking

Keyword Networking is a session where people interested in the same topic gather around a common keyword to share experiences. Question cards are provided to help initiate conversations, and Kakao crew staff are stationed at each table to encourage natural communication. Various topics, such as AI practical application cases and startup developer experiences, are expected to be discussed.

Deep-Dive Speaker Dialogue: After Sessions

After Sessions are times for attendees and speakers to sit face-to-face after a presentation to discuss the session content in greater depth. Attendees can freely ask about the background of technical choices, trial and errors during implementation, and tips for application in specific environments that were not fully covered on stage. There is no fixed format, but it is recommended to bring at least one question.

Venue and Schedule

The networking space has been expanded to accommodate the event scale. On the second day, the entire Growing Hall is designated as a networking space to support interactions among attendees. Both Keyword Networking and After Sessions will be held across Day 1 and Day 2, with specific venues divided between the Forest Hall and the Growing Hall.
