NVIDIA Announces Southeast Asia AI Acceleration Strategy and Expanded Public-Private Partnerships at AI Day Singapore

NVIDIA unveiled its strategy and partnerships for accelerating AI and HPC across Southeast Asia at AI Day Singapore, held in Singapore on September 22-23. The event prominently featured the production transition of public sector AI and use cases of Nemotron open models by technology leaders.

In the public sector, HTX is leveraging Nemotron 3 Super and Nano Omni to enhance public safety, while NCS is combining Nemotron with VSS Blueprint to develop agentic AI and humanoid robotics. ST Engineering is deploying agentic AI across its business operations, including maritime MRO, using NeMo tools and cuOpt software. In Thailand, iApp Technology is fine-tuning Nemotron 3 Nano on Thai legal data using the NeMo framework.

In terms of technology leadership, Sea Limited adopted the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform as the first in the ASEAN region, planning to deliver intelligent agents to hundreds of millions of users through platforms such as Shopee, Monee, and Garena. Vietnam's Viettel AI fine-tuned Nemotron 3 Super for Vietnamese language and agentic applications, achieving the top ranking on the VMLU benchmark, while FPT Smart Cloud co-developed the Nemotron-Personas-Vietnam open dataset. Hummingbird Bioscience is building an explainable toxicity knowledge graph to reduce drug discovery risks using Nemotron 3.5 Lightning and NeMo Retriever.
