Google Cloud's Major AI Announcements This Month

Google Cloud unveiled a variety of innovations over the past month, including the announcement of Gemini Spark and Gemini 3.5, as well as the release of Google AI Threat Defense, an AI-powered cybersecurity solution.

Key announcements include the following:

• Gemini 3.5: The latest model family, starting with Gemini 3.5 Flash, combines advanced intelligence with execution capabilities.
• Gemini Omni: A model with enhanced multimodality and editing capabilities that generates outputs from various inputs, including video.
• Google Antigravity: Provides an agent-centric development environment across organizations through integration with the Agent Platform.
• Gemini Spark: A 24/7 personal AI agent for Gemini Enterprise and Workspace customers that autonomously performs tasks based on user instructions.
• Google Workspace: Introduced Google Pics, an image generation and editing tool, along with new voice features for Gmail, Docs, and Keep.
• Managed Agents API: Enables developers to build and run custom agents within a secure, Google-hosted environment.
• CodeMender: An AI security agent delivered through the Agent Platform that helps find and fix vulnerabilities in code.

In addition, the Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro models reached general availability (GA) through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and Google Cloud is focusing on expanding its agent ecosystem, including strengthening its multicloud security strategy through collaboration with Wiz.
