Shopify AI Toolkit - Manage Your Store with Claude Code/Codex

This tool enables AI agents to efficiently build and operate online stores by leveraging the Shopify platform's documentation, API schemas, and code validation features. Through agents, complex tasks such as "optimizing product SEO" or "applying a 15% discount across all products" can be performed.

Three installation methods are provided.

• Plugin (Recommended): Installed via a command in the Claude Code chat, and supports automatic updates when new features are released.
• Agent Skills (Manual): Installed via the npx command, allowing selection of specific skills only, but does not support automatic updates.
• Dev MCP Server: Runs locally and can be connected to Claude Code without separate authentication.

It supports major AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and Visual Studio Code, and requires a Node.js 18 or higher environment. As infrastructure officially distributed by Shopify, it ensures that AI agents manage stores through verified methods rather than guesswork.
