Vercel Sandbox Adds Secure Compute Support for Dedicated Network Connectivity

Vercel Sandbox has added support for Secure Compute, which connects sandboxes to a team's dedicated network. This feature ensures that public-internet traffic exits through the network's static IPs and allows sandboxes to reach private resources within an AWS VPC through VPC peering.

Users can attach a sandbox to their network using either code or the CLI. In code, this is achieved by passing an existing Secure Compute network ID when creating a sandbox. Alternatively, the CLI command sandbox create accepts the --network-id flag followed by the network ID value.

Existing sandboxes can be updated to attach to or change networks using sandbox.update(). However, this change only takes effect on the next session; a currently running session retains its existing network configuration until it stops. This capability is exclusively available to Enterprise teams with Secure Compute.
