Laya decision model available on AI Gateway, free through October 31

Laya, an evaluation and decision model from Convai Innovations, is now available on AI Gateway and free to use through October 31, 2026. The model evaluates shared context against yes/no, choice, or scoring questions, returning structured answers with probabilities.

Use Cases

Laya is designed for tasks requiring structured decision-making, such as:

• Triage support requests: Detecting refund requests to route them to billing teams.
• Routing agent work: Choosing which tool or workflow handles a request.
• Checking guardrails: Flagging requests or responses that may violate policy.
• Scoring against a rubric: Rating ticket urgency or answer quality on a defined scale.

Access and Pricing

Users can call Laya via the AI SDK evaluation API, the native HTTP API, or the TypeSafe-compatible API using the identifiers convaiinnovations/laya or convaiinnovations/laya-free. Both IDs are free when served by Boundless during the promotional period.

The convaiinnovations/laya-free ID routes to Boundless and stops serving after the promotion ends. The standard convaiinnovations/laya ID will begin billing after October 31, 2026. AI Gateway provides a unified API for calling models, tracking usage and cost, and configuring routing, retries, and failover.
