modular: Mojo Language and MAX Framework in One Repository

This repository consolidates the open-source components of the Modular Platform. It is an integrated platform for AI development and deployment, providing both the MAX framework and the Mojo language. Core elements required, from model serving to the language compiler, are managed in this single location.

Key components include the Mojo compiler, the standard library, the MAX acceleration library, and the MAX inference server, which provides OpenAI-compatible endpoints. It also includes model pipelines utilizing Python-based graphs and various code examples, allowing direct use in setting up development environments.

Unlike previous approaches, this repository features integrated management of the Mojo language and MAX framework in a single repository. While contributions to the Mojo compiler are not currently accepted, open-source contributions are possible for the standard library, model architectures, documentation, and more. The repository is licensed under Apache License v2.0 (LLVM Exceptions) and the Modular Community License.
