Kakao Tech Meet Shares 2024 Event Improvements

Kakao Tech Meet shared operational improvements made over its last four events as it entered its second year in 2024. The organizers introduced changes in five areas—space, online participation, networking, Q&A, and gifts—to enhance the participant experience.

Improvements in Space and Online Participation To resolve visibility issues that occurred in early seminar rooms and at the 'Switch On' venue, the space layout was optimized starting from the third event by arranging chairs in long rows side-by-side. Additionally, online live streaming was introduced, separating offline and online tickets. From the fourth event, panel discussions were also live-streamed on platforms like YouTube to improve accessibility for online participants.

Enhanced Networking and Q&A An 'After Meet' session was introduced at the fourth event, featuring table-based networking by topic of interest. The Q&A tool was changed from Open Chat to Slido to integrate on-site and online questions, and souvenirs such as Kakao Friends gifts and entry wristbands were provided to enhance the participant experience.
