Kakao Releases Recap of 3rd Tech Meet... Emphasizing 'Core Emotion' Over 'Core Metrics'

Kakao released the recap of the 3rd Kakao Tech Meet held on September 14 at Pangyo Azit, sharing its operational philosophy and directions for improving participant experience (UX). The event featured four speakers conducting sessions on topics such as reliability, stability, and security, with session VODs and behind-the-scenes stories to be shared later.

The organizers define participants not merely as visitors but as 'Users', and are improving UX by treating the intention to revisit ('I'll come again next time') as the most important performance metric. In particular, they strive to find a balance among conflicting elements (Trade-offs), such as limiting the number of invitees and securing space, information disclosure and security, and the allocation of time between presentations and networking.

The most notable point is the goal of moving beyond existing 'Core Metrics' to target 'Core Emotion'. The organizers hope that participants will satisfy their intellectual curiosity through 'sincere preparation' and 'a respectful experience', and further grow into members who share knowledge within the ecosystem. To this end, they are focusing on authentic communication and sharing indirect experiences.
