Kakao Hosts Technical Workshop and Special Lecture at KCC 2023

Kakao participated as a sponsor of KCC 2023, hosting the Kakao Tech Workshop and a special lecture. The workshop shared Kakao's technology application strategies and challenges through six technical sessions covering cloud networking, In-Database ML, eBPF-based fault testing, LSTM anomaly detection, message ad recommendation, and anti-abuse measures.

Andrew from the Cloud Platform Team co-delivered the special lecture alongside Krafton and FuriosaAI, drawing high interest from attendees on the final day of the conference. Kakao operated an Open Chat room to maintain dense communication with participants and encouraged engagement through events distributing cute goods such as gel pens and stickers.

According to participant survey results, the most satisfying aspects of the workshop were ranked in the top three as 'presentation topics', 'depth of session content', and 'reflection of latest trends'. Presenters participated to share research achievements and accumulate presentation experience, and Kakao stated that it hopes such technology exchanges will serve as growth opportunities for both internal Crews and external participants.
