Kakao Cloud Platform Team Builds IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS Infrastructure for Company-Wide Service Development

The Cloud Platform Team within Kakao's Technology Strategy Division performs 'development for development' by building IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and SaaS (Service as a Service) to support the development of all Kakao services, including KakaoTalk, Melon, and Daum. The team develops infrastructure and products that reliably handle large-scale traffic, and supports the automation of personal development environments (sandboxes) that replicate production environments on a small scale for each service, thereby improving development and collaboration efficiency. This year, the team's vision is 'Programmable Connection with Business and SaaS,' focusing on improving user experience through business application clouds, data management, and experience analysis. Additionally, the team is securing technical capabilities to compete in the global IT market by responding to the latest cloud trends such as multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, AI/data-based SaaS, and APaaS (Application Platform as a Service).
