Kakao Hosts Online Meetup with ICPC Sinchon Featuring Practical Development and AI Sessions

Kakao hosted an online meetup in collaboration with ICPC Sinchon (a consortium of five universities in the Sinchon area) to foster the growth of the developer community ecosystem. The event was organized to share Kakao developers' practical experiences and growth journeys, featuring three core sessions based on pre-event surveys: junior developer job preparation, practical development experience, and AI technology.

The sessions proceeded as follows:

• Job Preparation Process: Developer Kim Ga-yeon from the Biz Platform Development Team shared her undergraduate experiences and efforts, offering job preparation strategies.
• Practical Development Experience: Developer Lee Sang-cheol from the Authentication Payment Platform Team detailed the development process of the 'Remaining Vaccine Reservation and Notification Service'.
• AI Recommendation Technology: Developer Park Sung-nam from the Recommendation Team presented Kakao's AI recommendation algorithm research and problem-solving cases in actual work.

Despite the Chuseok holiday period, 76 out of 80 pre-registered attendees participated, demonstrating high interest. Participants provided feedback that the event was beneficial for gaining vivid practical stories from current developers and job information in the AI field. The presenters and organizers expressed satisfaction with the students' enthusiastic questions and participation, and plan to continue growing alongside the developer community through ongoing collaboration with ICPC Sinchon.
