2025 Replit Review

In 2025, Replit redefined its platform direction around the Agent, recording its largest growth ever. Beyond simple coding assistance, the platform itself was designed to be agent-friendly.

Evolution of the Agent and Democratization of Development Tools

• Through Agent v2 (February), Agent 3 (September), and Design Mode (November), development speed improved by 2-3x. The agent can now test itself, operate autonomously for 200 minutes, and build other agents.
• Through One-click deploy, Replit Auth, Stripe payments, and database improvements, the production deployment process was simplified, lowering the barrier to entry for development tools.
• By supporting more than 30 connectors (Stripe, Figma, Notion, etc.) and MCP servers, an ecosystem linked to hundreds of tools was built.

Expansion into Mobile and Enterprise Markets

• Support for React Native and Expo enabled full-stack mobile app development, and the Replit mobile app ranked No. 1 in the App Store's developer tools category.
• By obtaining SOC 2 Type II certification and being listed on the GCP/Azure marketplaces, Replit equipped itself with the security and analytics features needed for enterprise environments, formally advancing into the enterprise market.
