Replit Agent v2 Early Access Released

Replit has unveiled a much more powerful Replit Agent v2 as an early access program, alongside the release of Anthropic's Claude 3.7 Sonnet.

Agent v2 has significantly higher autonomy than before. At each step, it forms its own hypotheses, searches for the appropriate files, and only modifies code once it has gathered sufficient information. In particular, it has improved capabilities to prevent getting stuck in loops on the same bug repeatedly and to reconsider its approach on its own when necessary.

Key features include the following:

• Real-time app design preview: For the first time in the industry, the agent renders the interface in real time while building an app or website. This allows users to preview design progress even before the entire application is complete.
• Enhanced app creation experience: From the idea stage, the agent guides users and recommends the next steps to take.
• High-quality UI creation: It excels at creating high-quality user interfaces and provides a vibe coding environment with enhanced security.

This v2 version is available to Replit paid plan users who have activated Explorer Mode. As it is currently in the early access stage, some performance degradation or improvements may occur during the development process.
