Zinus Saves Over $140,000 and Cuts Development Time by 50% Using Replit

Zinus had been using third-party QA software that cost $40,000 annually, but was experiencing issues where it failed to meet requirements. Building a custom solution through external development was expected to cost around $112,000 and take 3 months.

The Zinus team chose a third path: developing its own tool called 'Conversation IQ' using Replit Agent. By simply describing requirements in natural language, developers generated frontend code based on React and Material UI, then refined it in real time to complete the prototype.

This system provides the following key features:

• Customer conversation analysis using various AI models (ChatGPT, GPT-4, Gemini, etc.)
• Generation of per-agent performance metrics and ranking visualization
• Custom dashboards and charts for data visualization
• Storage of analyzed conversation data and performance trends

For security, sensitive customer data was handled through a separate API, while the frontend and database were built within the Replit environment, adopting a hybrid architecture. A voting system was also built to determine which AI model was best suited for specific use cases.

As a result, Zinus completed the project in 1.5 months instead of the expected 3 months, cutting development time by 50%. Combined licensing and development costs also resulted in total savings of over $140,000.
