Replit x India (Part 1)

India produces more than 210,000 computer science graduates every year, showing intense enthusiasm for coding, but due to limitations in the education system, more than 95% of graduates struggle to find immediate employment. Many students try to self-study through YouTube or MOOCs, but face problems such as low completion rates and difficulty maintaining motivation.

Replit addresses these problems through a cloud-based environment. Students can run complex code by leveraging the cloud's computing power, memory, and storage without needing high-spec computing devices. It also provides an online community where learners can share code and collaborate with others, creating an environment that helps sustain learning.

Thanks to these strengths, India has become Replit's second-largest user base outside the United States. Going forward, Replit plans to launch new products aimed at the Indian market, along with hosting the Diwali Diya Jam coding competition using JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
