SPC-Replit AI Hackathon Results Review

At the AI hackathon co-hosted by SPC and Replit, participants spent a week building innovative AI applications using the Replit platform. Projects ranged from meal planning to logical fallacy detection, demonstrating the diverse possibilities of AI applications.

The main award-winning projects are as follows:

• 1st place Dialectic: A tool that identifies logical fallacies during conversations to help productive communication
• 2nd place Parallel Video Control Net: Runs video inference pipelines in parallel on a serverless architecture without MLOps
• 3rd place OpenAGI (DAN): A modular autonomous agent framework equipped with search, email, and phone call capabilities

Besides these, projects across various fields also drew attention:

• Data and Code: Auto Analyst, which automates data analysis; ditto, a Replit extension that indexes codebases; Spellbook, which deploys smart contracts using natural language
• Life and Education: Meal Plan Together, which creates customized meal plans; Verbalista, a language learning app; NutriVerify, which verifies supplement information
• Community and Productivity: AI Slack Bot for the SPC community; PhysioAI, an AI record-keeping tool for physical therapists; and more
