Headspace Partners with ElevenProductions to Expand Global Meditation Content

Global meditation and mental health service company Headspace has signed a partnership with ElevenProductions to increase the global accessibility of its service. Headspace aimed to expand its content into multiple languages, including Spanish, Italian, and French (Canadian), moving beyond its existing English-centric service.

Through this project, about 200 audio files (totaling 31 hours) were localized, ultimately producing approximately 93 hours of completed multilingual content. Unlike existing localization service providers (LSPs), Headspace cited the high quality, fast speed, and seamless collaboration capabilities offered by ElevenLabs's technology as the key reasons for its choice.

Given the nature of meditation content, the quality of the voice has a decisive impact on user experience. Going beyond simple translation, ElevenProductions performed work to finely adjust breathing, pauses, and intonation, adding an expert touch to ElevenLabs's AI technology so that users could immerse themselves in a meditative state.

Building on the success of the initial 3-language project, Headspace and ElevenProductions are currently working on a second project targeting 9 languages, accelerating their push into the global market.
