Introducing EasyQueue, Kafka That Eases Operational Burden

NHN Cloud's EasyQueue is a fully managed Apache Kafka service in which NHN Cloud takes full charge of complex operational tasks such as cluster installation, node addition, security patches, and monitoring.

Users can focus solely on core Kafka functions—topic design, partition count configuration, consumer group setup—without the burden of cluster management. It is currently in beta stage and available in the Korea Pangyo and Pyeongchon regions.

Key features are as follows:

• Simple topic management: Topics can be created and modified with just clicks in the console without a CLI, and replication settings are applied by default for stable operation.
• Integrated test environment: Messages can be sent and viewed directly in the console without writing separate client code, making communication checks and incident investigation easy.
• Lag monitoring: Consumer group Lag status and time-series trends can be checked instantly in the console without separate tools.
• High compatibility: By complying with the standard Apache Kafka protocol, existing Java, Python, and Go client libraries can be used as is.
