AI Tracks Account for 44% of Uploads

Deezer stated that it receives about 75,000 AI-generated track submissions per day. This represents roughly 44% of total daily uploads.

However, actual listening share remains low, with AI song consumption making up only about 1~3% of total streams.

Deezer excludes AI-generated music from its recommendation algorithm and applies tagging, monetization suspension, and high-resolution storage suspension. The company emphasized that it is currently the only streaming service offering these features.

Deezer also explained that after launching its detection tool in January 2025, AI track uploads increased from 10,000 per day to 75,000 per day.

The tool can currently identify songs based on Udio and Suno, and stated that it can be extended to other similar tools if relevant data is available. The company is also developing a method to detect tracks without relying on a dataset.
