Banksalad Spreads a Culture of Employee Recharge Through 'Refresh Day'
Key point
Banksalad has introduced paid leave called 'Refresh Day' to encourage various recharging activities such as exercise, travel, and hobbies.
Details
Banksalad is operating 'Refresh Day', a paid leave given to all employees to ensure a break from work and guarantee personal time. During Refresh Day in the first half of 2021, five types of employees were revealed, each recharging in their own way.
Pro Exercisers engaged in an average of 4 hours of exercise such as gym workouts, yoga, and soccer, with some taking back-to-back pole dancing classes. Pro Travelers enjoyed nature by heading to hotel staycations near Seoul or traveling to places like Yeosu and Jeju Island. Pro Enthusiasts focused on hobbies such as font development, photography excursions, and hiking, spending time immersed in their passions.
Pro Homebodies, who rested at home, showed they were 'great on their own' through binge-watching dramas, home cafe setups, and self nail art. Meanwhile, Pro Banksaladers built bonds with colleagues outside of work through tennis matches, escape room cafes, and camping in Seoul Forest. Building on this recharge, Banksalad plans to continue focusing on creating customer impact in the second half of the year.
