ACM Conference on Human-Computer Interaction (CHI) 2026

Apple will unveil human-computer interaction research achievements at ACM CHI 2026. The event will be held April 13–17 in Barcelona, Spain, and Apple is sponsoring the conference while running both a booth and a presentation schedule.

The presentations are centered on UI generation, component variation identification, and accessibility. On April 14, Improving User Interface Generation from Implicit Designer Feedback and The Way We Notice, That's What Really Matters: Instantiating UI Components with Distinguishing Variations are scheduled, and on April 15, SceneScout: Towards AI-Driven Access to Street Level Imagery for Blind Users will be presented.

At the demo, visitors can experience the design and fit of AirPods Pro 3. Apple highlights improved fit, acoustic seal, and Active Noise Cancellation based on more than 10,000 3D ear scans and more than 100,000 hours of user research, spotlighting wearable design that accommodates a wide range of body conditions.

CHI 2026 will also introduce the roles of Apple paper authors, reviewers, and organizing committee members. Presentation topics span a broad range including HCI, Human-AI Alignment, visualization debugging, and accessibility.
