AI Gateway Leaderboard Data Access and Sharing

Vercel has made AI Gateway leaderboard data public and accessible programmatically. The data is distributed under a CC BY 4.0 license, allowing free use, sharing, and modification, including for commercial purposes.

The AI Gateway leaderboard tracks AI model usage in production environments, providing rankings by model, lab, app, and provider based on trillions of tokens aggregated daily. The four leaderboards each track the following:

• Models: request count, token volume, spend, images/videos generated
• Labs: request count, token volume, spend, images/videos generated
• Apps: token volume, spend
• Providers: token volume, spend

Data can be accessed in two ways. It can be exported in CSV format using the download button above each chart on the website, or accessed programmatically via the leaderboard-export API endpoint. The API is cached for 24 hours and can be filtered by full data or by specific dataset and modality (text, image, video).

Each chart also has a share button that converts the current view into an image. It can be downloaded as a PNG in various aspect ratios—horizontal, square, or vertical—or copied to the clipboard, with the image including the legend, title, and AI Gateway branding.
