Global financial institution BBVA has adopted ChatGPT Enterprise to spread AI technology from core systems to all employees. Within 5 months of adoption, over 2,900 custom GPTs have been created for an organization of 125,000 members, achieving results that reduced project and process time from weeks to hours.

Each department is building various customized GPTs leveraging specialized knowledge to innovate their work:

• Credit Analysis Pro GPT: Automates credit risk analysis by quickly extracting relevant information from unstructured data such as annual reports and ESG assessments.
• BBVA Retail Banking Legal Assistant GPT: Drafts fast and accurate answers to the 40,000 legal questions raised annually by branch managers.
• Client Experience Assistant GPT: Analyzes open-ended responses from NPS surveys to identify customer sentiment and provide actionable insights.
• Craft Opti Pro GPT: Helps risk analysts and others write sophisticated prompts to achieve better results.

BBVA took a democratic approach by directly distributing 3,000 licenses to employees who directly face problems. In addition, through champions in 21 areas and skilled users called AI Wizards, BBVA runs workshops to support employees in integrating AI into their daily work.
