Vercel Connect Adds Over 90 Preset Connectors

Vercel Connect has introduced Preset Connectors supporting over 90 services including Shopify, Okta, Workday, Jira, Sanity, and more. Preset Connectors come with pre-configured provider metadata, authentication settings, and default MCP or discovery URLs, greatly reducing the manual setup process.

Users can browse and select connectors from the Vercel dashboard, or easily create and connect them via the Vercel CLI. Currently, using the vercel connect create command redirects to the dashboard to complete the setup, with full CLI support planned for the future.

After connecting a connector, you can request a Token in the same way as before. By calling the getToken function with the connector UID, you receive a short-lived security token that operates within a specific scope, allowing you to securely call the external service's API.
