David Vélez and Robin Vince Join Boards of OpenAI Foundation and OpenAI Group PBC

OpenAI announced the appointment of David Vélez and Robin Vince as board members of OpenAI Foundation and OpenAI Group PBC. Both individuals bring experience leading global financial institutions, reshaping industries through technology and driving economic growth.

David Vélez is the founder and CEO of Nubank, Latin America's largest digital bank, an innovator who has expanded access to financial services. Robin Vince is Chairman and CEO of BNY, a global financial services company, where he is reimagining the firm's operating model through investment in AI and data.

With this addition, OpenAI aims to strengthen the following capabilities:
