Stripe Builds an Innovative App in a Single In-Flight Journey Using v0

Stripe's Business Value Consulting team has operated models that quantify customers' financial impact, but the existing spreadsheet approach had limitations in usability and scalability. This created bottlenecks that concentrated work on a small team.

Stripe's Mario Braz used v0 to build a prototype that solved this problem during a long-haul flight. Despite having no separate engineering training, he completed a mobile-friendly, immediately deployable web-based Value Calculator app by the end of the flight.

This app transformed complex financial models into an intuitive interface, helping Account Executives (AEs) confidently have value-driven conversations with customers. Key outcomes include:

• Internal user count increased 288% compared to the existing spreadsheet (92 weekly)
• Initial value hypothesis generation time reduced by approximately 80%
• Approximately 30-40 hours of work time saved per week
