kt cloud PLATFORM, Next-Generation Operating Foundation for Public Cloud

kt cloud PLATFORM is a next-generation cloud platform developed in-house by kt cloud, built on an OpenStack on Kubernetes architecture. The key point is that it advances the platform's operational structure by combining OpenStack's capabilities for controlling virtual servers, networks, and storage with Kubernetes' automation, resilience, and scalability.

There are three main advantages.

• Multi-region, multi-AZ high availability: Composed of Seoul (Mokdong and Yongsan AZs plus a Satellite Zone) and the Gyeongbuk region, enabling response to data center failures as well as regional-level disaster recovery
• Cloud-native scalability: A Kubernetes-based structure that accommodates both container workloads and existing VM workloads together, flexibly responding to changing demand
• AI infrastructure foundation: Supports GPU resource management and AI service operations at the platform level, addressing the adoption of generative AI-based public services
