Everything New Google Announced for AI Subscriptions at I/O 2026

At I/O 2026, Google revamped its Google AI subscriptions. The new $100 AI Ultra plan, available starting today, targets developers, tech leads, knowledge workers, and advanced creators. The existing top-tier AI Ultra was lowered from $250 to $200.

• The $100 plan bundles 5x higher usage limits than Pro in the Gemini app and Google Antigravity, Gemini 3.5 Flash, 20TB of storage for large datasets, codebases, and media assets, and an individual YouTube Premium plan.
• The $200 plan maintains 20x higher usage limits than Pro and access to top-tier features.

Agents and models are also expanding. Gemini Spark is a 24/7 agent available first in the US, rolling out to trusted testers this week and expanding to the US AI Ultra beta next week. Project Genie is expanding globally to AI Ultra $200 subscribers aged 18 and older, and adds a new world-generation feature based on Street View.

On the model side, Gemini Omni accepts text, image, and video inputs to support generation and editing, while Gemini 3.5 Flash delivers frontier performance for agents and coding. For productivity, AI Inbox in Gmail is expanding in the US from AI Ultra to AI Plus and Pro, and Daily Brief is also available in the US. This summer, voice features for Google Pics and Gmail, Docs, and Keep will be added to AI Pro and Ultra.

Benefits are also expanding. An individual YouTube Premium plan is already included with AI Ultra, and AI Pro in some countries will get YouTube Premium Lite at no extra cost. Health Premium and Home Premium are also included with AI Pro and Ultra, and the usage policy is shifting from daily limits to a compute-used basis that refreshes every 5 hours. When limits are reached, the system automatically switches to a smaller model, and to keep using the same model, users can purchase additional AI credits for Google Antigravity, Google Flow, and soon the Gemini app. Many of these changes roll out starting today, with some expanding over the coming days and weeks.
