• Integration scope: It connects to Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and links to external services like Canva, OpenTable, and Instacart via MCP.
• Execution method: It runs in the background on a virtual machine on Google Cloud, and high-risk tasks such as payments or sending emails go through a prior approval process.
• Expansion plans: Google also previewed macOS local file access, direct control over texts and emails, and Chrome integration.
• Developer tools: Google's AI coding tool Antigravity also received a major update with a desktop app, CLI, and SDK.
• Launch timing: It is based on the new Gemini 3.5 Flash, rolling out to trusted testers first this week, followed by a beta for U.S. Google AI Ultra subscribers next week.
