Toss Income QA Platform: The Beginning of a Tool 'Anyone Can Test With'

The Toss Income QA team developed a QA Platform that makes the Test API scattered across Swagger easy to use even for non-experts such as developers and planners. Rather than adding new APIs, this platform focused on improving how existing APIs are used, lowering the barrier to entry for testing.

The platform is being advanced in stages as follows:

• Phase 1: Tests can be run with just a UI button click, without needing to open Swagger documentation or write JSON directly. It offers a simple Normal mode and a Swagger mode with precise control, depending on skill level.
• Phase 2: Existing automation scripts are integrated into the platform, allowing anyone to run automated tests with a single button.
• Phase 3: The goal is to build an integrated test management system that manages the entire testing process in one place.

As testing became easier, the team shifted from waiting for verification to moving while checking as they go. Through this, quality became something that naturally weaves into the product design stage from the start, rather than a checklist item at the final stage.
