ElevenLabs Voice Creators Surpass $22 Million in Cumulative Earnings

ElevenLabs' voice marketplace is showing rapid growth. Creator earnings, which stood at $11 million in November 2025, doubled in just 6 months to surpass $22 million. Currently, over 10,400 creators are participating, providing voices in dozens of languages.

Unlike the existing one-time licensing model, the new economic model guarantees ongoing revenue based on usage. Creators can directly set usage cases, pricing tiers, and withdrawal notice periods for their voices, and earn revenue every time a user generates a voice.

The marketplace's main workflow is as follows:

• Professional Voice Clone upload: Creating voices with the highest level of precision
• Safety and policy review: The ElevenLabs team reviews for child safety, hate speech, celebrity references, etc.
• Discovery and matching: Customers discover voices through search, filters, or by uploading similar audio files
• Revenue distribution: Revenue is calculated based on set conditions and actual usage

This model provides a new revenue stream for various creators including radio producers, independent writers, game developers, and podcasters. As a real-world example, professional voice actor Jessica Bogart earned more through this platform than her combined acting career over the past 5 years.

ElevenLabs plans to enhance voice discovery features and analytics tools going forward, while also expanding this model into various creative domains, such as the recently launched Music Marketplace.
