You can no longer search Google for the word 'disregard'

Google has launched a new search experience that pushes the traditional '10 blue links' aside and puts AI Overviews front and center, but due to the sheer scale of the service, edge cases that weren't accounted for are causing errors.

For example, when searching for the word 'disregard,' a meaningless AI-generated response and a huge blank space take up the screen, forcing users to scroll a long way to actually find the dictionary link. This is being pointed out as a case of a flawed search tool, where the AI response provides no value to the user whatsoever.

On the other hand, Bing, which has applied AI Overviews relatively less aggressively, still provided useful information for the same search query, presenting a contrast with Google.
