MyContext, a Local-First Work Context App, Released

openTrinity has released MyContext, a Local-first desktop application that integrates scattered work records on an individual basis. The app collects data from various sources such as messengers, documents, and calendars to build a personal context graph and digital Persona, allowing external AI apps authorized by the user to query and utilize this information.

Data is stored with version control in a SQLite Vault on the user's disk, and is sent to a user-specified OpenAI-compatible gateway during model calls. Currently in the Developer Preview stage, breaking changes and irreversible migrations are anticipated. Additionally, packaging is currently limited to macOS, so Windows or Linux users must build from source directly.

Unlike existing AI memory tools, MyContext starts with existing work records independent of AI, adopting a 9-layer architecture that separates source access from context usage. The license is Elastic License 2.0, which permits self-hosting but prohibits providing it as a managed service to third parties.
