Nodeterm Releases AI Agent Integrated Terminal Manager

The open-source tool Nodeterm has been released, allowing users to place and connect coding agents like Claude, Codex, and Gemini as live nodes in an infinite canvas environment alongside actual terminals. This tool was developed to reduce the complexity of managing multiple projects and SSH connections, and to eliminate the Git overhead associated with VS Code.

Key Features and Highlights

• AI Agent Integration: Supports inter-terminal communication and context sharing, allowing one terminal to act as an orchestrator managing other Claude Code sessions.
• Session Persistence: Maintains the same layout and sessions even after app closure, disconnections, or SSH reconnections, preventing work loss upon reboot.
• Remote Management: Provides a terminal management experience identical to local environments when accessing via SSH, including drag-and-drop and image handling, with the ability to resume sessions on mobile devices.
• Built-in Git: Streamlines development workflows by integrating Git features such as push, pull, and commit.

Platform Support and Roadmap

Currently, an unsigned Windows beta version has been distributed starting from v0.3.4, and development is underway for a session persistence backend to replace tmux. WSL support is included in the roadmap, while Omarchy (Linux), based on Arch, is currently supported in Wayland environments.
