GPU World: SF Contest Imagines a Future Where Everyone Owns a GPU by 2040

The AI infrastructure and futurism community is hosting the GPU World contest. This contest envisions a world where by 2040, all 8 billion people on Earth can use the latest LLMs 24/7, assuming that while AI's intellectual progress halts after September 1, 2026, hardware performance and efficiency continue to improve.

• Theme: Exploring societal changes (education, healthcare, surveillance, impact on developing countries, etc.) under a 'Business as Usual' scenario where AI does not become superintelligent but computational resources become universal
• Total Prize Pool: $100,000
  • 1st Place: $40,000
  • 2nd Place: $20,000
  • 3rd Place: $12,000
  • 7 Finalists: $4,000 each
