ElevenReader Publishing Launches

Less than 5% of books worldwide are made into audiobooks. This is because existing audiobook production methods are costly and the process is complex.

ElevenLabs unveiled ElevenReader Publishing to solve this problem. Authors can upload ePub, docx, and PDF files to create professional-level AI audiobooks in just minutes.

Key features include the following:

• AI voice generation: Natural, context-appropriate speech using ElevenLabs' high-quality AI models
• Easy distribution: Global distribution support via the ElevenReader app (iOS/Android)
• Personalized experience: Listeners can directly choose their preferred voice within the app
• Monetization and analytics: Listening data analytics and revenue sharing through a beta program (for US residents)
• IP protection: Authors retain their intellectual property (IP) with no exclusivity restrictions

When participating in the beta program, authors can receive $1.10 in revenue per user who listens for 11 minutes or more (currently limited to US residents).

For authors seeking a higher level of customization, fine-grained voice control and pacing adjustment are also available through Studio. In addition, a partnership with Findaway Voices enables produced audio files to be exported directly to Spotify.

Currently, only English-language books are supported, with 31 additional languages planned for the future.
