Claude Gov Models for U.S. National Security Customers

Anthropic is introducing custom Claude Gov models designed for U.S. national security customers. These models are already deployed and in use at the highest levels of U.S. national security agencies, with access restricted to those operating in classified environments.

Claude Gov models were built to address real operational requirements based on direct feedback from government customers, and have undergone Anthropic's rigorous safety testing. This ensures they meet customers' unique national security requirements while maintaining the principles of safe and responsible AI development.

Key improvements include:

• Improved contextual understanding: stronger comprehension of documents and information within intelligence and defense contexts
