Claude Access Expanded Across All Three Branches of the US Government

To accelerate AI adoption across the US government, Anthropic is offering Claude for Enterprise and Claude for Government to all three branches of government—the federal executive, legislative, and judicial branches—at the dramatic price of $1.

This move aims to remove cost barriers so the public sector can leverage cutting-edge AI technology already proven in the private sector. Major institutions such as the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and the Washington D.C. Department of Health are already using Claude for scientific discovery and national security work.

Key features of the offering include:

• Claude for Government: Achieves FedRAMP High authorization, enabling secure handling of sensitive unclassified data.
• Claude for Enterprise: Provides enterprise-grade frontier models and continuous updates.
• Security and Infrastructure: Through partnerships with AWS, Google Cloud, and Palantir, agencies can use the service while maintaining full control of their data within existing secure infrastructure.

Anthropic has streamlined procurement through cooperation with the GSA (General Services Administration), and is also providing a one-year technical support package to help agencies quickly integrate AI into their workflows.
