Anthropic Integrates Claude Cowork and Chat, Launches Docs and Slides Beta

Anthropic announced the integration of Claude Cowork and Chat into a single 'Claude'. Previously, users had to select a platform based on the task type, and work context was not continuous. With this integration, Cowork and Design features can now be performed in all conversations, utilizing the context, tools, and integrations of existing conversations.

This update adds 'Claude Docs' and 'Claude Slides' as new features, available in beta for Paid plans. Users can request document creation or slide draft generation during conversations, and generated items can be downloaded as PowerPoint or PDF, or viewed and edited on mobile. All generated items are provided via a single shareable link.

The rollout schedule is as follows: Pro and Max plan users will receive automatic updates on web, desktop, and mobile apps within the coming weeks. Team and Free plans will follow soon, and Enterprise organizations will receive admin notifications 30 days before changes are applied.
