Legal AI startup Harvey has adopted GPT-6 Astra to significantly improve context awareness and structuring in the legal document drafting process. Compared to previous models, document formatting and context reflection capabilities have improved, enabling the generation of more complete and accurate drafts for complex legal workflows such as litigation and mergers and acquisitions.

Harvey leverages GPT-6 Astra's enhanced context window to analyze and synthesize vast amounts of data, including court information, internal law firm documents, and case law research. This allows it to output structured legal documents that faithfully reflect the context of the original source materials, going beyond simple text generation.

User Preference Integration

The Memory Panel feature integrates individual lawyer drafting preferences directly into the workflow. Settings such as using numbered lists, prioritizing EDGAR materials, and color-coding by priority are applied immediately during draft creation, allowing lawyers to focus on strategy rather than document formatting.
