World Labs Capabilities and Leadership

Headquartered in San Francisco, World Labs specializes in spatial-intelligence models that generate, reconstruct, and simulate interactive 3D environments from text, image, and video inputs. The lab also develops technology for robotic learning and simulation. Following the transaction, the World Labs team will continue focusing on AI model research, while Dr. Fei-Fei Li will join AMD as executive vice president and chief scientist, reporting directly to Dr. Lisa Su.
