Anthropic Expands Claude for Small Business with 43 Workflows and 27 Integrations

Anthropic announced the expansion of Claude for Small Business with 43 workflows and 27 new integrations designed to help owners run and grow their businesses. The update extends Claude's capabilities from back-office operations to business growth tasks such as lead generation, proposal writing, and marketing. New integration partners include Shopify, Salesforce, TikTok, Atlassian, Zoom, Xero, Gusto, Square, Stripe, and Zapier.

New Workflows and Integrations

The new workflows address requests from the spring Claude SMB Tour, where about a third of surveyed owners asked for help growing their business. Key features include:

• Weekly Briefing: Consolidates cash position, sales comparisons, pipeline changes, and overdue invoices into a single view.
• Lead Response: Qualifies inbound inquiries, drafts replies, and logs them to the CRM, with options for automatic or approval-based execution.
• Proposal Building: Generates branded, priced proposals from voice memos or meeting notes, streamlining the sales process.
• Month-End Close: Reconciles books against sales, expenses, and payroll, flagging discrepancies and creating a close packet for accountants.

Security and Trust Controls

Addressing data security concerns, the platform defaults to approval mode, where Claude drafts and stages tasks but requires user approval before execution. Certain sensitive workflows, such as payroll processing with Gusto, remain in a staging state until explicitly approved. Existing software permissions are maintained, ensuring users retain control over data access and actions.

Training and Availability

To support adoption, Anthropic is launching free workshops in 10 US cities this fall. More than 150 organizations trained as Approved Claude SMB Trainers will run over 750 workshops in their communities. Additionally, 14 integration partners will host free webinars. The service is available on every paid Claude plan, with the Team plan recommended for businesses with more than one person. Claude for Small Business has been installed more than 900,000 times since its launch in May.
