Apple Unveils Foldable iPhone Duo… Pre-orders Start on the 16th

Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo with a foldable design and will begin pre-orders on Friday, October 16, at 9:00 PM. When unfolded, it becomes the thinnest iPhone ever, with an inner display 50% larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max, optimized for content consumption and multitasking. When closed, the outer display measures 13.6cm, maintaining a pocketable compactness.

Performance and Software

The iPhone Duo is powered by the A20 Pro chip and features a dual-battery architecture to deliver all-day battery life. iOS 27 has been reimagined for foldable devices, and Siri AI, built on Apple Intelligence, supports enhanced AI capabilities such as understanding personal context and recognizing on-screen content. However, Siri AI will be rolled out sequentially as an English beta version alongside iOS 27.

Camera and Design

It features 48MP Fusion main and ultra-wide cameras, supporting zero-shutter-lag photography and optical-quality 2x telephoto zoom. A FaceTime camera is placed under the inner display, enabling hands-free calls even when unfolded. It has an IP68 water and dust resistance rating and is available in two colors: Star White and Night Sky.
